Who are we?
We are a group of Christians interested in:
1. Praising God to the best of our abilities
2. Making more disciples for Christ
3. Encouraging one another
4. Having good Christian fun
Why are we here?
College is a very crucial time in everyone's spiritual development. At the CCSC we hope to counteract the push and pull of the world around us by drawing closer to Jesus Christ. Our only mission statement is the mission Jesus gave everyone of us in Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..."
What to expect:
We have fun stuff: ping pong tables, games, volley ball, a television area, etc.
We also have some very useful things: washer and dryer, kitchen area, wireless internet. etc.
All of those things are great, but what we really want to achieve is a place where the SAU student can go and feel completely comfortable worshipping God. You can expect a lot of singing, praying, and studying of God's word at the CCSC.
Whatever you decide to do during your college career, remember; "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" 1 Corinthians 10:31. |
